Margaret A. Romero

NATIONALLY BOARD-CERTIFIED NURSE PRACTITIONER

Margaret graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Her education continued to graduate school, where she attended Columbia University and obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Ms. Romero is also a pioneer in bringing Integrative/Functional Medicine to the forefront by teaching it at the Columbia University School of Nursing in NYC.

With more than 25 years of experience in the medical field, which began as an emergency medical technician, her passion went from being an ER nurse to optimizing health through food and nutrition. Her background includes starting up two medical practices in the southwest, taking over an Integrative Women’s Health Center in Boulder, CO, and the other a wellness center with two acupuncturists in Santa Fe, NM. Years later with her transition back home to New York, she immersed herself at top integrative centers in NYC. Soon after, she became the medical director at Oz Medical, working closely with celebrity nutritionist and anti-aging guru, Oz Garcia. Aside from overseeing the medical aspects of the center, she performed office/house calls for big-name celebrities administering IV vitamin infusions.

Ms. Romero brings a unique blend of cutting edge functional medicine and traditional medicine to Femme Med NYC. She uses the latest in lab testing, IV vitamin nutrients, customized vitamin supplementation, effective sexual health boosters, and the best in holistic medicine.

In addition to her strong medical training and background, she embraces and encourages women to recognize their own innate wisdom. Ms. Romero is a visionary, embracing feminine energy, is a traveler, a lover of adventure, and the great outdoors. When she is not assisting women at Femme Med NYC, she can be found in her kitchen happily cooking gluten-free meals, hiking, or practicing yoga.
